iStabilizer Dolly ISTDL01 – CES 2013

The iStabilizer Dolly ISTDL01 is another example of good, old-fashioned American ingenuity at work. Noah Rasheta is the founder of iStabilizer, a company specializing in equipment that’s designed to let you get smoother video using your smart phone.

The iStabilizer Dolly ISTDL01 is comprised of a small platform with 4 smooth wheels on adjustable axles. It weighs less than a pound and a half and is priced around $50.

Details:

Attached to the platform is an articulating arm and a spring-loaded camera mount. Simply slide your smart phone into the mount and you’re ready to shoot like Spielberg…well, it does take a little practice, but having the right equipment is a good place to start.

The spring-loaded mount is designed so that you can leave your camera in its case and install it into the dolly with minimal fuss. That’s a big bonus.

The only other thing you’ll need is a smooth surface upon which to roll the dolly. At that point, you’re good to go.

The company makes several products designed to aid in both photo and video production, and they all have unique qualities and features. We’ll take a look at them more in-depth in the near future.

In the meantime, take a look at the video preview we shot at CES this year. It includes a couple of test shots we did using an iPhone and the iStabilizer Dolly. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.

A hydraulic hammer, also known as a hydraulic breaker, is a powerful attachment used with excavators and other hydraulic machinery. It is designed to deliver high-impact blows to break and demolish hard materials such as concrete, rocks, and asphalt. The hydraulic hammer operates by utilizing the hydraulic system of the excavator to generate intense percussive force. The force is transferred to a chisel or moil point, which strikes the material, breaking it apart. Hydraulic hammers are commonly used in construction, demolition, quarrying, and mining applications, providing efficient and precise material breaking capabilities.
